Come celebrate 100 years of service!
The Rotary Club of Salem is celebrating its Centennial in 2018. We invite you to join us and hope you will sponsor our premier fundraising event, the Centennial Auction, and/or make a centennial leadership gift . We would be thrilled to spend this evening with you!
This dazzling evening of celebration will be held on March 23 at the Historic Hawthorne Hotel (doors open @ six pm). The evening will include cocktails, music and a silent auction, a fantastic dinner and a “lively” Live Auction. The evening will close with a dance party / nightclub.
Most sponsorships include event tickets, and we would be thrilled to spend this evening with you. Suggested evening attire is black tie optional, so come dressed to impress
New for the Centennial Year is the option to participate in the Centennial leadership program.
The Centennial Leadership Gifts directly and indirectly support the most important aspect of the Salem Rotary Club's mission: Scholarships for Salem students going to college! Centennial leadership gifts are fully tax deductible.
- 50% of your gift will be used for a direct scholarship grant in your name to a Salem student
- 50% of your gift will be invested in the Salem Rotary Club Foundation and will have permanent impact for many years to come
Why is your sponsorship and/or leadership gift important?
Our Club is recognized citywide for its commitment to students and education. Annually, we award up to $50,000 in higher education scholarships to Salem students. Often the dollars these students receive are life changing. One of the most important days of our year is the Annual Student Scholarship luncheon. Witnessing the familial pride, experiencing the goosebumps, and knowing we are making a direct impact on the future success of each student recipient is powerful and rewarding. In addition, we give about $25,000 every year to local causes and people in need.
The Salem Rotary Club is also part of an international network that consists of 1.2 million members from over 200 countries. Worldwide, Rotarians are integral in the effort to achieve a Polio-Free World.
