Joe Amico had two guests - Nathan Ives, the new priest at St. Peter's Church, and Jed Berman, head of the Youth Literacy programs.

FINES AND RECOGNITIONS

Rinus announced that Mike McLaughlin was elected by the board to be President-Elect.

Liz Bradt went to DC to visit ‘friends’ and left it at that.

Kara McLaughlin went with her son and daughter to see "Hamilton." It was nice to see her son who was visiting.

Bill Henning mentioned that Patrick Langmaid (since he wouldn’t do it himself) has been promoted to Vice-President.

Rob Lutts commended Rinus on running great meetings.

Bruce Whear mentioned he had a Rotary moment during a talk on entrepreneurship at Salem State University when a student came up to him and mentioned he was a Salem Rotary Scholarship recipient.

Mike McLaughlin stood up to say he was very excited to be President-Elect.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CLUB BUSINESS

The club will support the annual Turkey Run on Thanksgiving. See Rinus if you want to accept one of the five runner slots.

A focus on vocational and career tech high school pathways is one of Rinus’ areas of focus, and we will have an upcoming lunch scheduled at the The Black Cat high school café.

Money has been approved to pay for our Rotaract Group to get t-shirts.

Rinus will be reaching out to corporate members for feedback on how the program is working.
