This week at Rotary members shared many of their recent experiences.
The DCF Picnic is August 10. Gerrit will send out an email looking for volunteers to set up, which will be between 4 and 6. Anyone with a vehicle that can help move the grills from the Plummer Home to the Willows should consider themselves on call! The cookout will be at the field at the Willows. We likely will have a bouncy house but Gerrit will be requesting any fun games. You can expect there to be a magician and cotton candy maker.
The Fundraising Committee and the International Committee both had a meeting today. Boat Building Committee is meeting next week BEFORE Rotary at 11:30. Dick Moore had a recent heart attack and is recovering and is optimistic. Definitely feel free to reach out and send him some Rotary love.

ROTARIAN NEWS
Leslie Levesque reported that unfortunately James took a ball to the eye. They have been back and forth to Mass Eye and Ear. On the brightish side, she just booked flights to get her daughter down to University of Tampa where the water apparently is as warm as urine (her words).
Tyler Hains just returned from Rocky Mountain National Park area where he was for a family reunion. They all had a blast seeing glaciers and other natural wonders.
Randy Burba let us know that hismiddle daughter is headed back to San Diego State and now the house is a little less bright. His oldest is off again soon and Randy will be driving down to Coastal Carolina for another college drop off.
Joe Amico took one of two annual trips, this one was a trip with his 87 year old sister around Lake Winnie. This Friday, he will be up in Harpswell, Maine to meet a colleague
Gerrit Bradley had no bird report but did have a World Cup report. Netherlands won the group and the US finished second, so both advance and Rinus was made a happy man. Gerrit woke up at 3 am this morning to catch the finale of the group stage.
Robin McKee Williams has been visiting Salem and the Salem Rotary because of the birth of her first grandchild James. She has been enjoying exploring our fair city and enjoying it.
