President Mike McLaughlin attended the Early Act election and listened to the students give both their acceptance and concession speeches.
Also, Mike was a recipient of the benefits of the Michael H. Reed Trust fund which offered free admission to the aquarium for Salem residents. He used the Salem ferry as his transportation to Boston.
Joe Amico was hosting the “No Place for Hate” event at Root from 6-8.
Amy from the House of Seven Gables visited the Big E fair and was amazed at the excitement of interest in the Haunted Happenings of Salem by the travel and tourism committee in the western part of the state.
Jason Consalvo reported last week’s Patriot’s game was the usual SNOOZE fest. He watched the game with one eye on the sport and the other one was snoozing.
Rinus was very impressed with the Naturalization Ceremony at the House of Seven the Gables.
Bruce Whear was denied the rights to publish or produce his rendition of "Santaland Diaries" show after spending weeks of preparation.
Liz Bradt went to Indianapolis to visit her family’s 80 acre State Park “Versailles.”
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CLUB BUSINESS
Tuesday was the Change for Change collection day where the children of the Early Act club collected their piggy banks and/or loose change.
Kudos to Viktoria Talebian for organizing the Sips and Starters Event.
Shannon Murphy, a recipient of a Rotary scholarship, sent a thank you letter.
Michael McLaughlin announced with deep regret that Dick Lutz submitted his letter of resignation.

On December 13th there will be a District event to hear the Boston Pops play at Symphony Hall.
