SPEAKER OF THE WEEK

This week's speaker was Dr. Stephen Young, a professor from the Department of Geography at Salem State University.

He spoke to us about the real dangers of climate change and the undisputable conclusions of the scientific community that the earth’s temperature is rising at a dramatically fast rate.  The cause is the large amount of carbon dioxide we are producing.  He urged the use of alternative energy sources such as wind and solar.
