Policing on the North Shore - Chief King shares his Salem and Marblehead experiences

Chief of Police of the Marblehead Police Department, Chief King has achieved a law enforcement career based upon hard work, progressive police practices, ethical behavior, and professional collaboration. Worked 25 years at the Salem Police Department, serving 10 months as the Acting Chief of Police, assigned a variety of investigative, administrative and supervisory roles, culminating into a reputation for being a knowledgeable, task oriented, and innovative police leader. Advanced both in the academic and law enforcement fields; obtaining a Juris Doctorate with Honors, leading several social justice and crime prevention-based strategies, and holding several Instructor Level certificates in police training.
