Hans Jeppesen, MD, MBA

Hans Jeppesen is an internal medicine physician and Chief Executive Officer of Charter Health PC, a
private practice member of Mass General Brigham Community Physicians. Charter Health employs six
physicians and 12 nurse practitioners and its services include primary care, behavioral health, hospital
medicine, and nursing home medicine. Its main office is on the campus of MGB Salem Hospital.
Prior to founding Charter Health in 2017, Dr. Jeppesen served as Chief of Hospital Medicine at Salem
Hospital and at Cambridge Health Alliance. Prior to starting medical school at the age of 33, Dr.
Jeppesen worked in corporate banking and management consulting. His first job out of college was
financial analyst at an environmental engineering firm in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Dr. Jeppesen and his wife Shan have 3 children and live in Boxford, MA. In his free time, he enjoys
fishing, woodworking, town softball, and the guitar.
