Members of the Salem Rotary Club spent June 5 sponsoring and hosting an appreciation barbecue for Eliot Community Human Services. This amazing organization provides community-based services to more than 50,000 individuals and families throughout Massachusetts each year, delivering state of the art, evidence-based programming since 1958. Using a person-centered, family-driven approach, Eliot believes strongly in partnering with the communities served.  Eliot programs collaborate with one another, utilizing the expertise within the agency to provide the highest standard of quality services to clients and their families.  This approach fuses community resources, funding resources, and a vast array of services to ensure that the high quality programs bring hope to those served by Eliot.

Led by Jane and Gary Stirgwolt, Salem Rotarians set up for the event, which was held at Winter Island Park. The Stirgwolts provided delicious home cooked food for the event, and other Salem Rotarians handed out food and beverages to attendees. A great time was had by all!
