Rotary Club of Salem

The Salem Rotary Club is a local chapter of the larger Rotary International and as such we are able to help both our local and worldwide communities.  Through service projects and fundraisers we help our local communities with scholarships for high school seniors, support our local Boys and Girls Club and Foster Families and provide meals to our local homeless shelter, just to name a few projects.  On a global level we support worldwide efforts that encourage conflict resolutions, promote sustainable economic development and deliver clean water and emergency housing to communities in need.  

In addition, Rotary International continues to be pivotal in the progress being made by the World Health Organization in its effort to eradicate Polio.  On a local level our club participates in a Polio Plunge in January to raise funds which goes to this effort.

 

Last year the Salem Rotary Club raised and donated over $75,000.
