Friends Forever
Geybrell Liriano is 16 years old and from the Dominican Republic, and lives in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Geybrell participated in Friends Forever International this year and was part of the first U.S. virtual team. Geybrell will share how his FFI experience was incredibly eye-opening. He learned different skills that to teach others so that they can thrive alongside him.
In 2021 FFI began to offer one-of-a-kind programming designed to develop bold and empathetic leaders (15-18 years old) from across the nation. This program included 18+ virtual sessions and a 10-day trip to our Global Headquarters in New Hampshire. The program focused on conflict transformation (personal and community), public speaking, communication, and identity. It is one of the most challenging youth leadership programs in the country and emphasizes resilience, empathy, and action. Participants develop concrete skills and the confidence that will help them unify the nation and transform the world into a better place.
